Wades Beach: Out of the Ashes

Wow, who does not like technology. Just got some new pix in that were taken today on Shelter Island. You can see the second level is going up, as well as the interior. Note the interior beams. This is because we are going to have an exposed-beam ceiling in the majority of the first floor. The living room, sun room, and kitchen. That's why the beams are so wide and nice-looking. We learned that having an exposed-beam ceiling is actually more expensive than just having a drywall ceiling, because you need better wood. It'll be worth it.
